Dunsfold Park New Access Roadworks

Published: 12 March 2020

In preparation for the Dunsfold Park new access road works which are due to commence in May 2020, limited work will be carried out along the boundary of the site with the A281 from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th March 2020.

The work involves the reduction of defined vegetation and hedgerow along the site boundary and the collection of site investigation and cores. An ecological site survey was completed this week where the absence of nesting birds was established allowing for the commencement of work.

The work scheduled on Friday 13th March will take place on Dunsfold Park. On Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th March the work requires traffic management to be in place on the A281 northbound lane, with signal controlled one-way operation. Surrey County Council has issued a licence for the use of temporary traffic lights. The location of the lights can be viewed on the Surrey County Council online map of planned roadworks by clicking this link: https://www.surreycc.gov.uk/roads-and-transport/roadworks-and-maintenance/roadworks

The preparatory work is being carried out on the weekend to minimise disruption and, once complete, a section of temporary fencing will be installed along the boundary to secure the site.

Work on the new access road will begin in May 2020 with completion and opening anticipated in autumn 2020.
